MEDIGUARD SENIOR

Is there any unique benefit under mediGUARD Senior?
 
mediGUARD Senior provides coverage on Geriatric condition. Upon diagnosis with hospitalization treatment of deterioration or loss of intellectual capacity illnesses specifically Alzheimers, Parkinson, Senile Dementia or Dementia, a lump sum as stated in the Schedule of Benefit shall be payable.
   
2. What is the maximum enrolment age under mediGUARD Senior?
 
The maximum enrolment age under mediGUARD Senior is at the age of 65.

What is the maximum renewal age for a senior citizen currently insured under mediGUARD Senior policy?
 
If a senior citizen enrols for mediGUARD Senior plan at the age between 56 - 65, he or she may renew up to the age of 75. However, a senior citizen may renew up to 80 years old subject to discretion of the Company and provided that he or she has enroled before 61 years old.

Is there any condition to fulfill for renewal from 76 to 80 years old?
 
Yes, an Insured will have to enrol under mediGuard Senior before 61 years old and renewal is subject to discretion of Kurnia Insurans (Malaysia) Berhad (KIMB) and Personal Health Declaration form.
   
5.
Can an Insured who has mediGUARD Value policy switch to mediGUARD Senior when he / she reaches 70 years old?
 
No, maximum enrolment age for mediGUARD Senior is 65 years old. If the Insured opts to switch to mediGUARD Senior, then he/she needs to enrol at the age of 56.
