KUALA LUMPUR: Kurnia Insurans (Malaysia) Bhd
has signed a deal with Microsoft Malaysia to be the first user
of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 in the country. The CRM software
will enable Kurnia to customise its insurance products and services
for its policyholders.
In a media statement on March 25, Kurnia Insurans
said the use of the CRM software marks a positive step by the company
to consolidate its multiple customers’ interaction points
into one single view.
The software would also allow the insurer to track
and improve its services’ turnaround time, and maintain a
zero dropped-case record of its policyholders.
Kurnia Insurans chief executive officer Kong Shu
Yin said they were pleased to be partnering Microsoft to ensure
a seamless customer experience through automated workflow processes,
while automating KPI measurements and reporting systems for better
analysis of results.
“It allows us to focus our efforts on core
business strategies, while being well-supported by a global committed
partner,” he said, adding that the technology deployed was
in line with Kurnia Insurans’ transformation project to improve
its performance and brand image.
