REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PRE-CONTRACT EXAMINATION FOR INSURANCE AGENTS (PCEIA)

The Malaysian Insurance Institute (MII) Pre-Contract Examination for Insurance Agents (PCEIA) is conducted in two forms: "Paper and Pencil" and the "Computer Based" PCEIA. The course syllabus consist of the following categories :

Part A	Basic Insurance
Part B	General Insurance
Part C	Life Insurance

The applicant is required to take Part A and Part B to qualify as a General Insurance Agent. Kurnia Insurans (Malaysia) Berhad can assist in the registration for the course and examination. Please contact any of our branches to obtain the registration form and submit the following :

	Malaysian Insurance Institute Registration Form
	RM50 for "Paper and Pencil" or RM80 for "Computer Based" PCEIA Examination Fees in Bank Draft, Postal Order or Money Order and drawn in favor of "THE MALAYSIAN INSURANCE INSTITUTE"
	Photocopy of NRIC
	Photocopy of SPM certificate (required for registration)
	Course Book Purchase: RM21

Examination entry permit and course book are to be obtained from our branches after the application has been processed by MII. Applicant will then sit for the PCEIA. Upon successful completion of the PCEIA, the MII certificate may be collected or posted to the applicants by our branches. Click here to find out more information on PCEIA from the MII website.
