It has been a tradition of Kurnia to hold annual Agency Awards Presentation Dinner as a token of appreciation of the strong supports given by our agents. However, this year's event came with a difference. The grand dinner was held together with a Convention. In view of the large size of our agency force, two separate Agency Awards Presentation Dinner & Convention were held at Genting International Convention Center (GICC) on 4th to 6th August, 2006 and 25th August to 26th August respectively.

Very encouragingly, the two events were well attended by thousands of our agents from throughout the breadth and width of the country. The excitement of the events was first felt the attending agents and Kurnia personnel arrived at the GICC for registration at special counters set up for speedy and orderly check in. Their arrivals were met with soothing music played professionally by none other than our KIRC's band boys which speaks eloquently of the versatility of Kurnia employees. The two separate events were like nights of colors as agents, especially ladies showed off their latest fashionable dress. A very strong feeling of camaraderie was felt as all the Kurnians were seen to have gathered and mingled around to rekindle old friendship, exchange ideas and experiences and make new friends.

There was never a dull moment as electrifying performances and our competent and confident emcees brought much gaiety to the glorious and fun filled nights. The whole banquet hall was enveloped feverishly in laughters, applauses, music and funs when all the awards winning agents took turn to go up the stage to collect their well-deserved and hard-earned prizes.

The Agency Awards Presentation Dinner & Convention was kicked off with a keynote address by Kurnia's CEO, Mr. Kong Shu Yin who showcased emphatically, inter alias, the path for all of us in Kurnia to march forward in our quest for further heights.
